I have been to the Netherlands, Belize, and nearly half of the U.S. states. I hope to continue to expand my international horizons!
I am in education because...
I was in the classroom for 2 years as a paraprofessional and 4 as a lead teacher. I love the "light-bulb" moment when kids are learning new concepts! I also enjoy the connections I can make with each student and with my coworkers. I'm excited to continue to support AXIS staff in my new role in the front office.
More about my life and education:
I graduated from CSU in 2017 with a degree in Health & Exercise Science. After graduating I began working in schools as a paraprofessional and continued on to obtain my K-6 teaching license. I have been with AXIS since the beginning back in 2019!
When I'm not at work, I love playing ultimate frisbee, reading, and spending time with my husband and our two pets, Arlo and Charlie (who students like to call "Charlo"!).
